Configure OBS
One-time setup. Your stream key is permanent — set it once, reuse forever.

720p60 · 2500–3500 kbps CBR · keyframe 2s · x264 veryfast or NVENC
Set the bitrate to about half your real upload speed. If OBS shows dropped network frames, lower it; a higher number does not look better, it only drops frames. 1080p60 needs 4500–6000 kbps and a 10+ Mbps upload. Rate control: CBR, not VBR — a constant rate is what makes the 2s keyframe interval actually land on time. Turn Dynamic Bitrate off in Advanced settings: it silently breaks OBS's own auto-reconnect on a dropped connection, so a network hiccup can end your stream with no retry.
Full OBS Setup Steps
- Download OBS from obsproject.com
- Go to Settings → Stream
- Service: Custom
- Server:
rtmp://api.mlnf.net:1935/live - Stream Key: paste from above
- Click OK, then "Start Streaming" when ready
