2. Designated Agent

Our designated agent for receiving DMCA notices is:

Attn: DMCA Agent

Email: [email protected]

3. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe content on MLNF infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material on MLNF, including a URL or description sufficient for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Incomplete notices may not receive a response. We may share your notice with the user who uploaded the content.

4. What Happens After a Valid Notice

Upon receiving a complete and valid takedown notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the identified content promptly.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed and why.
  • Record the incident for repeat infringer tracking.

5. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was taken down in error or that you have authorization to use the material, you may send a counter-notification to our designated agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area (or Lincoln, Nebraska if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

MLNF enforces a repeat infringer policy. Users who receive multiple valid copyright complaints may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our discretion. We track all takedown notices and their outcomes for this purpose.

7. Misrepresentation Warning

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees. Do not file a takedown notice unless you genuinely own the copyright or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

8. In-Platform Reporting

You can also report copyright concerns directly on any piece of content by clicking the report button and selecting "Copyright" as the reason. For formal DMCA takedowns with legal effect, use the process described above.
